Product images are crucial to ecommerce success. You’re trying to replicate the in-store experience where a customer can pick an object up, look at the back of it, understand the weight of it and understand the construction (or even try it on if it’s shoes or apparel).
There are many important aspects of product images: the size of the image (bigger is better!), how you show alternate images, what it looks like on mobile and how they fit on the page.
