𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵

I was chatting to an e-commerce founder on GrowthMentor the other day. I told him about my favourite question: “What almost made you not purchase today?” I love to ask this post purchase. With that question you get the people who have gone through all the pain and friction on your website and made a purchase. All those who have been put off by the things on your site have dropped off, but these people have pushed on and made it through and have some insights about the challenges on your site. He did something different and shipped it with his products (which as a grade A nitpicker I may not have done as people may not remember the site experience as much as in the moment).
However, I love the way people find cool scrappy ways to get insights, I love getting on the front line with people’s problems and working in the trenches with them.
