𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀

I’m not sure if I’m conflicted about this?
This image is a great “in situ” product image (but it’s AI). She looks human, the clothes look good and the whole production looks like it would help aid people to buy the product. (they’re outlining the fact that the images are AI are on their site.)

Living in Cape Town and having many friends involved in the industry of making commercials I can see the potential impact on livelihoods. On the other hand you’re creating something easily that involves a lot less kerfuffle, air miles and is an additive to the purchasing process.

This is the first step in the changes of how we shop online. I’m interested to see the chatbots, personalisation and things I can’t think of coming in the next few years.
