AI is coming for school pretty fast.
My brother, Niall McNulty is on the front line of the pedagogical side of things. He’s doing some interesting stuff on how to use AI to teach better.
The kid’s side is interesting too:
– my daughter isn’t penalised for using AI, but has to sign a declaration about how it’s been used in assessments
– the top education apps are camera to homework solvers. I don’t want to narc on kids (🤐 ), but this isn’t a robust way to learn…
It ties into an interesting discussion about what to learn, how to learn and how to equip kids for 2040…
( a big topic for Linkedin, and a debate I’m very interested in)
