I saw a button on a website that offered me the ability to negotiate. It’s an AI driven chatbot that goes down in stages until it reaches it’s limit (in this case it went from £4,450 to £4,100 in three steps).
It’s interactive and completely rejected my lowball £3K with emojis and reasons. I tried to include shipping in the discussion for the bulky product, but it wasn’t interested in discussing it. The discount amount is seamless when you have a deal and it showcases the discount percentage(which is nice).
However I don’t like it for a £4k product. It cheapens it a bit for me. It makes me think like the company is trying to rip me off if everyone can get a deal. BOGOF and promos are fine for retail and cheap brands, but not for exclusive products.
